Hi, I’m Emily! I’m passionate about understanding people, creating work with high impact, and experiencing what the world has to offer.

I graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in May 2018, receiving a Bachelor of Design (BDes) with a focus in Communications Design, a minor in Global Systems and Management (GSM), and a concentration in Psychology. I had the opportunity to study human-centered design and interaction design while taking studios and electives focused on visual communications. To complement that, I took classes outside of the School of Design that combined my interests in learning about culture, business strategy and interdisciplinary collaboration.

I’ve been drawing since I was five years old and I knew I would grow up to do something creative. As a designer, I love to solve complex problems and I’m always up for a challenge. I care a lot about people, and I’m enthusiastic about finding ways to help them using design and on a personal level.

When I’m not designing, I’m spending time with my family and friends, planning a trip or a social event, looking for the next great coffee shop or restaurant, collecting artwork + trinkets, checking out a new exhibit or experience, reading a good book or binging the latest TV show.
